1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using BakeMargin (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
BakeMargin is a recipe costing and margin tracking platform for home bakers and micro-bakery owners. The Service includes free calculator tools, a recipe management dashboard, ingredient cost tracking, pricing suggestions, and monthly business reports.
3. Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.
4. Free and Paid Plans
BakeMargin offers the following plans:
- Free — up to 3 recipes and 20 ingredients, access to all public calculator tools
- Starter ($9.99/month) — unlimited recipes and ingredients, monthly reports, AI pricing assistant (5 queries/month)
- Pro ($29/month) — everything in Starter plus unlimited AI queries, priority support, and advanced analytics
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service’s operation
- Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
6. Intellectual Property
The BakeMargin brand, website design, calculator tools, and content are owned by us. Your recipes, ingredient data, and pricing information remain your property. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of BakeMargin is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
8. Limitation of Liability
BakeMargin is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of cost calculations, pricing suggestions, or AI-generated advice. You are solely responsible for your business pricing decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BakeMargin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your settings page, which permanently removes all your data within 30 days.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the website. Continued use of BakeMargin after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Madrid, Spain.
